The terrace would have been attractive in the sunshine, but not in a tropical downpour. The inside dining area was mostly typically Austrian but with a modern basic addition. Very central position. All very clean. The older parts are attractively traditional.

The hotel is right at the center of Oberammergau and hence all attractions are within walking distance. The room was very spacious with two levels as indicated in the booking. The mountain views were truly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and even guided us as and when required.
The breakfast could probably be improved to include various other options like Vegan, Salmon etc.

Good location just minutes from the main area of Oberammergau. Easy access to the main highway (23). Nice views of the mountains. Has everything you need for a visit and very comfortable for the 4 of us. The hosts were very communicative and even put up a Christmas tree for us free of charge.
Not really a negative thing but be aware this is an older building and the ceilings are quite low. I am 185.5CM tall and any taller and I would not be able to stand up in many of the rooms. Two of the bedrooms are in areas with slanted ceilings or lower than 170CM

There is a great variety of things to do in Oberammergau and in the nearby villages and countryside. Although the presence of tourists is obvious, they are not oppressively omnipresent - at least at the end of September, and the area's undoubted beauty appears in no way to have been marred by tourism.

Its a beautiful place having good connectivity to Munich as well as Partenkirchen. Although the bus frequency is adequate during the day time, it ceases by 7:00 or 8:00 PM. So plan your days accordingly if you are using public transport. Rest everything is good.

Our stay was to visit such sights as Zugspitze, Eibsee, and Schloss Neuschwanstein. It was a great location for all of those, Oberammergau is an attraction in itself full of beautiful buildings, history, restaurants (Bavarian and otherwise), shops, and access for hiking/walks. The history of Oberammergau hosting the Passion Play should not be overlooked.
Very nice breakfast buffet. Room was very nice and big with balcony with a view to the mountains. Hotel is in a very good location not far to walk to the city. Oberammergau is a very special place with lots of religious handcrafted shops and the famous passion of Christ play, next year from May to October 2022. I liked the Peter and Paul Church and the old graveyard with the most beautiful old religious crosses all over and every grave so nicely looked after. There are many nice walks and hikes close by.
The hotel is very close to the city center. Only a few minutes away on foot. There are places to eat nearby.
The room was really big and had everything you need. I liked the size of the room. It was comfortable and had a lot of space. The bedroom was separate, but the other rooms were separated by partitions that were open to the ceiling. The bed was very good. Breakfast was good.
The staff was friendly.
Wi-Fi sometimes a bit slow.
Mrs Richter was very kind and helpful. She gave us a free local bus pass and offered to help us with our boarding passes if we needed it. She gave us interesting information about the local area. The hotel was in a quiet place but near the centre. The breakfast room had lovely views of the mountains and the breakfast itself was fresh and tasty. I would willingly stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Katja’s place. She is amazing! So friendly and helpful. The hotel is super clean and has everything you could need. We ate at the restaurant our first night; the food was delicious and the service was great. It’s an easy walk into Oberammergau. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!
Everything here we loved, location is great, within 4 minutes walking from the bus station. Room is super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent!! Above all, the owner is super nice, always smiling and helpful. The best hotel we had in our trip in Germany! Highly recommend.
The best location, close to everything in Oberammergau. We appreciated the parking space and the apartment was wonderful: extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful, historic buildings and activity.
Family type hotel; very cozy. Katja went above and beyond to help me with transportation to and from the train station. And also made sure I could have breakfast earlier than usual, so I could have something to eat before my early departure from the hotel.
Really nice hotel. A little on the expensive side, but with the facilities like swimming pool and Sauna, it probably fits in the range. Nice surroundings, with a beautiful church just around the corner. Breakfast is nice, but less choice.
All the staff was great, and helpful even with my very poor German. Breakfast was some of the best I have had. The hotel is comfortable and is centrally located in town. Walking distance to everything.
